hey ya'll ! 
it's been a while, i know. so i give you all permission to hate me ._. haha anywaaaays, i've been working on this for a while.
shio nanahara (right) and nao takagi (left)
from the manga "hitoribocchi wa samishikute"
it's really good, cute, romantic, and about music
i totally recommend it.
i guess i'm requesting critiques,
but i'm honestly not satisfied with this
so don't bother telling me it sucks
because i already know that haha
(i'm only submitting because i haven't in a while)

obviously i didn't follow the exact shading patterns,
and the shoulders and hands are a little off,
and the girl's face is too long... and the hair's messed up
as well as her hair tie (I COULDN'T DO IT, OKAY?!)
oh and i ran out of paper room so the top of takagi's
head and fingers are chopped off. oops O.O
... but oh well haha ENJOY~
**NOTICE**
for some reason, whenever i post a deviation that's popular, a lot of people accusing me of tracing. please know that it's not true. the proportions and lines are messed up in a few places. but i use a separate sheet of paper to help me mark distances between things so that i can make it as best as possible. of course, if you don't believe me, i don't know what to say
it's hard for me to provide physical proof since none of you were there to watch me take over 5 hours to draw this. only my sister could testify to my honesty (as she was siting next to me drawing) but i doubt if you won't take my word, you would take hers.
i honestly respect the artist SOO much, and appreciate they're insane amount of skill and effort that went into this manga, i promise. and i actually provided a link to the manga, so that i'm not claiming it as so. i don't know what else to say other than what i'm saying it the truth -shrug-

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactOverall, I really like this piece! I can plainly see the effort that has gone into this.
It's very simplistic in style, which I quite like in terms of line. I really like how you've done the hands especially, they're always difficult to draw, and you've got them in quite a difficult sort of positioning without actually overdoing the lines. I also really like the shading on the hair, since you can easily tell what way the strands are meant to be going without
The only things I've really noticed sticking out at myself in particular are some of your proportions being slightly off, mainly being Shio's ears - one is slightly bigger than the other, and her shoulders are angling a bit oddly. Some of the shading is also quite difficult to make out, since it is so light compared to the very dark lines you've used here.
I think what could really improve this would be to get a lot more tone in there, if you're going to shade it. Show us where the really dark shadows would be, where the light would hit their skin, their hair, clothes.
Other than that, great work! I'm impressed with the piece so far, and now I'm going to go and read the manga that these two are from. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="
